Introduction

Security and safety issues remain one of the most important factors that determine social wellbeing, economic stability and development of a country. Increased security related challenges continue to threaten societal progress and development. Criminal conduct continues to evolve due to cultural and technological changes.

The Diploma in Criminology and security management program is aimed at generating and disseminating security related in formation that will be helpful in crime prevention and management. The program not only prepares human resource and man power needed for research and management of public and private institutions at all levels but it will also help them understand how human psychology relates to and influences criminal behaviour.

Admission Requirements

A minimum KCSE grade of C - Minus. Or:

Cambridge School Certificate, (“O” Level) Division 1 or Division 2 and a minimum of 38 points Or:

Cambridge Higher School Certificate, (“A” Level) with 2 principle passes. Or:

KCSE Certiticate with a minimum grade of D+ with a relevant certificate from an institution recognized by the university senate
